Denver Museum of Nature and Science

In May, we visited the Denver Museum of Nature and Science where they had the Real Pirates exhibit. The exhibit was amazing. It took me two hours to get through it - my family made fun of me because they went to lunch without me because I was taking so long. I wish I could have taken pictures inside, but they didn't allow it. But the artifacts were incredible and well worth the trip. (More details can be seen in this previous post - click Pirates.)

The museum had many other great exhibits that we explored including Dinosaurs and their Eras, North American mammals, and a great Kids Discovery Zone. They had other exhibits that we didn't have time to see, but are worth a trip back.

The Denver Museum is huge and well-stocked with great things for the kids to see and do. They especially liked the Kids Discovery Zone and the hands-on activities. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth the trip.
